Room Air Conditioners and Dehumidifiers

Should your QuikComfort room air conditioner or dehumidifier proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period listed below, effective from the date of original consumer purchase of the product, we will replace the defective part(s). Replacement parts will meet intended fit and function of the original part. Replacement parts are warranted for the unexpired portion of the original warranty period. This limited warranty is good only to the original purchaser of the product and effective only when used in the United States of America.

WARRANTY PERIOD

Parts: 12 months from Date of Purchase

Compressor: 60 months from Date of Purchase

This warranty applies to the original purchaser only, and only covers defects in workmanship experienced during operation of the product under normal service, maintenance, and usage conditions. This warranty applies to the purchase and use of this product in residential settings within the contiguous United States of America.

Exceptions: Commercial or Rental Use Warranty

90 days labor and parts from date of original purchase. No other warranty applies.

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE

If you believe your product is defective, please send email to support@quikcomfort.us to contact our customer support team for troubleshooting assistance and warranty service. You MUST have your original proof of purchase in order to obtain your warranty. You may be required to provide your product model number or serial number upon request.

The following limitations apply to the coverage of this warranty. This warranty does not cover:

-Labor charges for installation, setup, or training to use the product.

-Shipping damage, and any damage caused by improper packaging for shipment to an authorized service center, and any damaged caused by improper voltage or any other misuse, including abnormal service, handling, or usage.

-Cosmetic damage such as scratches and dents.

-Normal wear and tear on parts or replacement of parts designed to be replaced, e.g. filters, cartridges, batteries.

-Service trips to deliver, pick-up, or repair; install the product; or to instruct in proper usage of the product.

-Damages or operating problems resulting from misuse, abuse, operation outside environmental specifications, uses contrary to instructions provided in the owner’s manual, accidents, acts of God, vermin, fire, flood, improper installation, unauthorized service, maintenance negligence, unauthorized installation or modification, or commercial use.

-Labor, service, transportation, and shipping charges for the removal and replacement of defective parts, beyond the warranty period.

-Products that have been modified to perform outside of specifications without the prior written permission of manufacturer.

-Products lost in shipment, or theft.

-Products sold AS IS or from an unauthorized reseller.

-Products with serial numbers that have been removed, defaced, or invalidated.

-Damage from other than normal use.

-Replacement or repair of household fuses, circuit breakers, wiring, or plumbing.

-Damage to personal property from use of product.

-Damage from service other than from an authorized repair facility.

-Hoses, knobs, lint trays and all attachments, accessories, and disposable parts.

-Any service charges not specifically identified as normal such as normal service area or hours.

-Any special or consequential damages arising out of the use of the product.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY IS REQUIRED BY LAW, IT IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE EXPRESS WARRANTY PERIOD ABOVE. NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER NOR ITS DISTRIBUTORS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST REVENUES OR PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER DAMAGE WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE. IN NO EVENT AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE OF ANY TYPE OR KIND SHALL THE SELLER, MANUFACTURER, AND/OR DISTRIBUTOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY REASON, UNDER ANY THEORY, FOR MORE THAN THE BASIC COST OF THE PRODUCT TO THE PURCHASER OR END USER. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Mini Split Air Conditioners

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty Statement (the “Limited Warranty”), QuikComfort warrants to the original purchaser of this 19SEER Mini Splits System (as used herein, “System” shall mean 19SEER outdoor and indoor components connected via refrigerant piping and electrical wiring) purchased on or after Jan 1, 2021 from a licensed HVAC contractor and installed by such contractor in the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii, that:

  • 5-Years parts warranty to the original owner of the system. If any parts should prove defective due to improper workmanship and/or material for a period of five (5) years from the date of installation, QuikComfort will replace any defective part without charge for the part. Replacement parts are warranted for the remainder of the original 5-year warranty period.
  • 7-Years compressor warranty to the original owner of the system. If the compressor should prove defective due to improper workmanship and/or material for a period of seven (7) years from the date of installation, QuikComfort will replace the defective compressor without charge for the compressor. Replacement compressors are warranted for the remainder of the original 7-year warranty period.
  • NO LABOR. These limited warranties do NOT include labor or any other costs incurred for service, maintenance, repair, removing, replacing, installing, complying with local building and electric codes, shipping or handling, or replacement of the System, compressors or any other parts. For items that are designed to be maintained or replaced by the original owner, the original owner is solely responsible for all labor and other costs of maintaining, installing, replacing, disconnecting or dismantling the System and parts (such as filters or belts) in connection with owner-required maintenance. Air filter cleaning and/or replacement for each applicable indoor unit are owner-required maintenance, and labor for this procedure is not covered under warranty. Please consult the applicable technical documentation for air filter cleaning and other maintenance procedures.
  • PROPER INSTALLATION. This Limited Warranty applies only to Systems that are installed by licensed HVAC contractors under applicable local and state law, and who install the Systems in accordance with (i) all applicable building codes and permits: (ii) QuikComfort’s installation and operation instructions: and (iii) good trade practices.

BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE, please review the applicable technical documentation to insure proper installation and correct customer control adjustment for the System. If the problem persists, please arrange for warranty service.

TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE:

  1. Contact the licensed contractor who installed the System or the nearest licensed contractor, dealer, or distributor.
  2. Proof of the installation date by a licensed contractor is required when requesting warranty service. Present the sales receipt, building permit or other document which establishes proof and date of installation. In the absence of acceptable proof, this Limited Warranty shall be deemed to begin one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of manufacture stamped on the System.
  3. This Limited Warranty applies only to Systems purchased on or after Jan 1, 2021 only while the System remains at the site of the original installation, and only to locations within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  1. Shipping damage, and any damage caused by improper packaging for shipment to an authorized service center, and any damaged caused by improper voltage or any other misuse, including abnormal service, handling, or usage.
